Recognising emerging unsigned talent
Local Music Live, sponsored by Howarth Timber & Building Supplies is a new initiative aimed at putting unsung talent on the air, combining commercial and community stations to encourage and support local singers and bands.
Throughout June 2017, singer/songwriters and bands submitted their songs to localmusiclive.org for a chance to be played by local radio DJs from across the UK, with the favourite artist or band given the opportunity to record their music at the professional Redwall Studios in Bury, Great Manchester, and create a music video for one of their tracks.
With an amazing response, it was a difficult decision to choose a favourite, but we’re very proud to announce Feliicia Eliza as our 2017 favourite!
2017 Favourite: Feliicia Eliza
Singer/songwriter Feliicia has both Danish and English blood running through her veins, a fact which comes through beautifully in the country infused pop she plays. With over 200 entries to the Local Music Live initiative, selecting a favourite was no easy task.
Feliicia was first spotted by our Manchester branch, and was put forward as a finalist, before being voted the 2017 favourite by the judging panel. We’re sure Feliicia has a stellar career ahead of her.
Feliicia’s new music video is coming soon, as well as an exclusive ‘getting to know’ interview, so watch out for updates!
